The U10 boys Sharks team and the U10 boys Extreme both finished 3-0 in jamboree play. The U14 White boys were champions of the U14 Gold division and the U11 girls, U11 boys, and U12 White boys all placed second.

Six teams from the club enjoyed some great soccer weather at the 22nd Annual Plantation Thanksgiving Classic Tournament this past weekend. Three teams made it through the group phase but the best finish was a runner-up spot for the U15 boys.

The U.S. Women's National Team recently played a series of three friendly matches against South Korea at venues across the country, with the final game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Saturday, November 8. Jessie Andrade and Fatima DiModica of the U12 Red girls team got painted up and went to the stadium early to see if they could meet some members of the team.

Naples Youth Soccer Club held its 4th Annual Naples Sharks Shootout this past weekend at the North Collier Regional Park soccer complex in Naples. The tournament was host to 57 teams from across Florida including 22 teams from the Miami, Tampa and Melbourne areas.

Camille Lewis, a longtime member of the U18 girls team, was recently awarded a $250 college scholarship by the Florida State League, one of several leagues under the auspices of the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA).

Two former Sharks played for the Barry University Buccaneers in Miami Shores this fall. Jena Cernuto finished her collegiate career as a five-year letter winner who played in 75 games, this year starting in 15 of 16 games. She will graduate with a physical education major and a minor in psychology.

Damarys Mendez, a junior at Barry, also started 15 of the 17 games she played in, scoring two goals and contributing three assists from her midfield position.

CJ Winton, a member of the U15 boys team, was recently voted Rookie of the Year by his high school varsity teammates at Canterbury School , which plays fall soccer because the school has no American football program. CJ played various positions for the team, scoring 6 goals and dishing out 3 assists.
